for my birthday one year, my aunt gave me a leonardo di capro fan book- full of glossy photographs of the hunk. because i was a punk and didn't realize the true value, i gave that shit over to the goodwill. you don't know what i would do for that now.
listening to the romeo+julio soundtrack (courtsey of sway) and this shit is POPPIN! and for a bonus, the cassette case has glossy photos of mah boy leo. ummmmmmmmmm.
this weekend, my mom came up to the beautiful central coast. its was delightful to see her, but it made me miss home, a lot.
my hometown is one of the most beautiful places, i bet most people feel that way.
the most glamourous city by the sea.
my friend made me a mix a little bit ago. this deluxe jam was on it, although i have no idea who it is by/what it is called. i guess it doesn't really matter anyway, maybe this adds to the universal nature of it as well.
curly top was telling me about some of her troubles a little ago and i told it to her like it is. i have a habit of doing that- telling it like it is. i don't know if thats the best method, telling it straight.
is honesty the best policy?
i've been struggling with this... i don't know why.
anyway, i tell it straight because i like things clean and simple. always for you, i'll keep it clean and simple.

i found a mix cd under a pile of junk, although it would hardly play due to so many scratches. so i "remastered"; hoodcheck proudly presents:
diet cokes, fake designer sunglasses and the soundtrack to the end of summer (remastered):
winter quarter 2008, you're killing me. the open road is looking a lot more alluring everyday. and the god damn raining is helping either. at least lupe fiacso has been keeping me company.
do you hang out in libraries on saturday evenings, lupe?
